Wellness Wednesday!

Hello all! Its HUMP DAYYYY!

Hope all is well with everyone. Today is all about overall wellness!!

The state or condition of being in good physical and mental health: "stress affects every aspect of wellness".

I've been paying more attention to my body. My body was telling me, "I don't feel well". So, since I'm a good listener, I started working out and being more careful about what I eat in early December 2012. I'd made failed attempts at this before but this time around, it is like my body just said, "keep this up and I'll give out on you!" Ain't nobody got time for that! (via Sweet Brown)

I want all of my readers to listen closer to their bodies as well. Take a look at the verses below (they helped inspire some of my recent fitness/eating habits): 

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.


1 Corinthians 9:27 ESV But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.


See, I was REACTIVE to my body but we all have the opportunity to be PROACTIVE. Let's make sure we are getting our priorities in order so that we not only "feel" better but our work will not be in vain, it will be pleasing to God. 

So, what shall we do today for Wellness Wednesday? I have a challenge for you. 


This lady is quite entertaining! I love her energy and little quirks. I'll be looking for similar videos to share in to future. You don't need a gym membership (although useful) to get yourself to a better place! Have fun! It is going to hurt, she is not lying! =D
