Style | "Fashionably Fierce" Feature

Hello Lovelies! January is rolling along and this month I'm bringing back "Fashionably Fierce" features I first met her during our undergrad years. I loved her style then and with the magic of Instagram I've been able to catch back up with her and her style selection all over again! Let's meet this month's feature! 

Shan: Introduce yourself! 
Shawn: My name is Shawniece aka @lucylulux on IG! I'm from Washington, D.C. and I'm a 28 year old self-proclaimed diva. Lol! I'm an aspiring stylist and business owner. 

Shan: Describe your personal style? 
Shawn: I'm very goofy, my style of humor is very sadistic. 

Shan: What words (if any) do you identify with? 
Shawn: I'm going to go with eccentric. I'm different! (in my 2chainz voice). 

Shan: Shop and Tell? Where are your top go-to stores/websites, where you know you can’t leave empty-handed? 
Shawn: I'm all over the place when it comes to shopping. I'm in love with thrifting, forever 21, and another guilty pleasure is urban outfitters. 

Shan: THRIFTING!! I love thrifting but shoppers may not use to these types of stores, can be easily overwhelmed by the volume of product & styles available, do you have any tips on a newbie thrifting? 
Shawn: Thrifting can be very overwhelming you're right! I just say have a very open mind. I look at everything as a possible treasure! 

Shan: Name one thing you wouldn’t get caught dead wearing? 
Shawn: Oh gosh, I'm not even sure. I love to give everything a chance. 

Shan: What is the #1 error you think ladies get wrong when styling themselves? 
Shawn: I think women often forget to 1. Trust themselves. 2. Trust their bodies! Ladies, don't get caught up in other peoples idea of beauty. I came across so many woman who hate the skin they are in. You have to love what you have and flaunt it! 

Shan: What is your favorite accessory and why? 
Shawn: I love earrings, always feel naked without them. 

Shan: Name a "Random" fact about you? 
Shawn: Random fact about myself.... I am a true Cancer! It's a love me or hate me thing. Lol 

Shan: What type of services would you be able to offer to clients? 
Shawn: I'm able to offer clients the ability to style them head to toe with a customize wardrobe that fits their lifestyle while still being fashion forward no matter the budget!
