Inspiration | There's Power in Defining Your Goals [Blog-tember Challenge - Day 2]

BLOG-TEMBER, DAY 2: SEPTEMBER GOALS

Friday, Sept. 2: Share a list of your current goals.
I ultimately have three immediate short-term goals.

1 - Complete as much of the Blog-Tember challenge as possible.
Sitting down at the keyboard can be a daunting task with a 2 year old that is always up to shenanigans. To be honest, she totally runs the house. Well, not the house, but definitely runs my sleep schedule these days. It’s been a bit wonky around for a few weeks now. Hopefully, being accountable to myself with this list will help me get things back on schedule. Surely, I’s tired! (yes, I said “I’s”...who gon’ check me, boo?! LOL)

2 - Market my blog by joining link-ups.
Do you have a linkup party?! I’m looking for you! No, like really, I’m looking for you………………...really working to expand my readership and connect with other bloggers. Since my first #RandomMoms Meet-up in Raleigh, NC in July, some have expressed interest and can’t wait for the next event! That’s really exciting but while I’m toiling away on details and possible locations, I’d like to connect with you all in another way. If you also are a blogger/vlogger, drop a comment below so I know you stopped by. I’m always interested in connecting with other writers and reading/viewing new content! Drop a link to your favorite link-ups as well!

3 Plan my November and December family and blog activities.
Like where did 2016 go?! It’s already Christmas decorations out in stores...like can we get to Labor Day ya’ll?! Out of control! In all seriousness, 2017 will be upon us shortly and I don’t plan to be organizing my year starting January 1st. I recently sat down with Hubby to discuss what things we’d like to accomplish next year, so we can be on the same page and support each others goals. I suggest you all do the same. Write out places you’d like to visit quarterly. Also, since everyone is “about their coins”, what’s that credit score looking like? Do you have any savings goals for 2017, how will you get there? So organizing and prioritizing my activities for the last quarter of the year now will free up my ability to plan the first quarter of 2017, while still in 2016! Makes sense right?! One of these days I’ll be able to plan even a year in advance. But until then patience young middle-aged grasshopper!

So what to do next?

Well, What are some of your short-term goals?

Tell me your goals in the comments! Hey, maybe we can prod each other along and get in done! Teamwork make the dream work, right?

Talk to you later lovelies,

This post is partying over at the following linky parties!
