Lifestyle | Life Lately & Re-imagining Myself

Hello Hello! If the algorithm’s on my side today, you found me and I’m grateful for it. This page has experienced multiple hiatus, all self-imposed. I’m here for now and glad that you are here with me. What can you expect from me coming back to this place:

  1. I want to reconnect with longtime Randoms and roll out the welcome mat for newbies as I spill a little tea from the last 3 to 5 years and catch you up on what’s happening right now! We’ve all been on a wild ride together, haven’t we? The world’s changed so much, yet somehow, many facets remain the same. I look forward to reflecting on my personal journey in the interim.

  2. Sharing the insights I've gained from my various adventures and the internal reflections that accompanied them.

  3. I’m excited to share some content that I’ve captured without letting the insecurity of waiting too long to post hold me back.

Let’s keep it 100, it can feel like we’re being pulled in a million directions. Trust me, I feel you—I’m here too at times! As a married, working mother, I know the struggle of juggling careers, kids' schedules, and marriage while cultivating space for a little "me time.” In the chaos of it all, we sometimes forget about caring for us. A big part of why I’m here is to hit the refresh button and make self-care part of my daily playlist! It’s not just about getting by; it’s about thriving, and becoming the absolute best version of ourselves, for ourselves!

Why Reimagination  Matters

First, let’s talk about reimagining ourselves. When was the last time you checked in with yourself—like beyond the day-to-day grind? I used to really stick to the idea that, “oh, I know myself, I’m grounded, I’m grown, stable in thought and virtue,” Yet sometimes that amount of inflexibility to new ideas can hinder our growth. We are constantly evolving as people, especially when we’re balancing motherhood, relationships, and careers. Who we were five years ago may not be who we are today, and that’s okay! We can give ourselves permission to redefine ourselves whenever we see fit to do so. This is an intentional practice that I am using to reconnect with my passions, rediscover my strengths, and define my personal goals.

Start by asking yourself a few questions:

  • What do I need more of in my life?

This question allowed me to reimagine my relationship with self-help therapies. I thought vision boards were cute but never held much stock in their capability to influence change in my life. I challenged this idea and designed the image below. [insert Canva vision board]. Completing this task helped me to answer the following questions:

  • What are my current priorities?

  • What makes me feel fulfilled?

You might have spent years fulfilling roles as a caregiver, a griever, or a problem solver, leaving you in need of help to uncover your identity beyond those responsibilities. I urge you to take some time to envision the person you aspire to be. Setting intentions for yourself isn’t selfish; concentrating on your personal growth is not merely a fantasy—it’s essential. Commit to the effort required to truly be present for yourself.

You Deserve to Evolve

At the end of the day, the day gotta end.[Glorilla gif] The process of reimagining your life is not merely a privilege for the fortunate. When we invest in ourselves, we gain the ability to be more resilient and attentive to those we cherish. I encourage you to begin today. Envision your future, and wholeheartedly welcome personal growth. You’re more than capable—let’s keep going, together!
