Drum roll please...........
Reviewing my weight tracking from MyFitnessPal.com I noticed a few things today. I starting my profile 6/2012 and from 8/2012 - 12/5/12 I magically lost 8 lbs. I'm not sure why or how but it went away without trying.
In December of last year, a friend randomly suggested we workout together and coupled with my PCOS issues, dedication to my relationship with God & the miraculous disappearing "8 lbs", I decided "this time....its serious...I'm committed."
Since I've been on MyFitnessPal I've lost 23.8 lbs total and of that time & total, from 12/05/12 to today, I have lost 9.8 lbs.
Is that a lot? NO! Am I sad about it? NO! Slow and steady people, IT WORKS!!
I didn't gain 88 lbs in two months and have no intention of losing that quickly either.
In January, I set a goal to lose maximum 6 lbs per months. Anything more would just be a blessing. I'm not there yet, currently averaging 4 lbs a month but from my last different about my weigh-in today. My last weigh-in was Jan 28 (1 week ago) when I started Jillian's 30 Day Shred. Well, 1/28 I weighed in at 268.6 lbs and I wasn't expecting to weigh-in 4.4 lbs lighter! Wow, Jill...doing 30 Day Shred and some FitSugar.com class videos a few days this week are having a great effect!
Now, to be honest...I didn't do Jillian's DVD everyday for a week straight, that's where the FitSugar.com videos came from...needed some variety but hey, my (excuse grammar) system ain't broke so don't need fixin'! LMBO! (i'm crack myself up)
Keep pushing...just remember slow and steady.
