Simply Hair, The Absolute Truth
Hello Lovelies,
People constantly ask me tons of questions about my hair. Here are the answers to a few questions I get repeatedly.
Yes, I'm on team natural.
No, a bad relaxer experience was not the reason I went natural.
Yes, it [my hair] is that long.
Yes, I have chemically color treated my hair and will do it again (in your face!)
Yes, I use heat occasionally (at home & with by a licensed stylist).
No, I do not know how to cornrow.
No, I do not flat twist instead (can't get them neat smh).
Yes, so this means two-strand twists are always how I start a style unless I have assistance.
Yes, I have multiple textures in various sections of my hair.
No, I do not refer to my hair type using Andre Walker's hair classification system.
Yes, like every other natural with thick hair, I despise wash day.
No, I do not twist my hair every night (I'm not 'bout that life)
and lastly,
No, I do not "use" anything to make my hair curly/wavy. Its grows that way y'all!
I know people are just looking for information and I'll gladly keep answering these questions because at one point I had them as well.
Just wanted to share a little bit about me.
Anything else you'd like to know? Feel free to ask a question below!
Talk to you later lovelies,

I'm thinking but I know I have a Question.:)
ReplyDeleteLOL. Keep thinking & when you figure out, let me know! :)
DeleteI think you should try my curlformers (if you haven't tried some already). You know I can't use them right now! XD
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion MsTina. I've always thought they would make a great addition to my "hair arsenal" but I was concerned that my hair may be too long for curlformers.
DeleteI have the extra long ones for hair up to 29 inches. I would say your hair is about the same length as my mother's. I'd be more worried about the thickness. I have an EXTREMELY tough time with my mom's hair because it's so thick and I only have 1 pack of 40. She really needs 2 packs, as do you.
