WLW Web Series: Accepting Your Challenges

Women Living Whole: "Diamond" Web Series
Accepting Your Challenges

As a Diamond you will face many challenges on this journey. A challenge is to question the action or authority of someone. There are going to be people or incidents that come to challenge you. Do not be afraid when these challenges arise because you have been equipped to face each and every one of them.

How many of us have been given a challenge. A challenge against who we are? A challenge that makes us decide to stand for right or wrong? Challenges are part of our process. A challenge is a difficult task or something that is hard to do. We all have been faced with something that was hard for us to do or hard for us to go through.

Challenges are a part of what makes us stronger. If we do not stand up for what is right then we will be consumes by the challenges. Not physically but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We will be faced with decisions that help shape our character. What we have to understand is that sometimes even when we make the right choice we still have to go through. When we make the right choice God is right there, we are not alone. There are those reading these words thinking but Lord I made the right choice. I took a stand and I was still beat up, picked on, fired from my job, I lost my husband, I lost my home, I had to go in hiding, and I did not feel you there. God is saying he was there. He never left you. Every blow he felt it. Every harsh word, he heard it. Every place you went, he went there too. God was there and is there. When challenges come we have to accept them and choose to do right.

Some of you may know the story of the three Hebrew boys. If you do not know the story you can read it in the book of Daniel the 3rd chapter. The Hebrew boys were giving a challenge to either serve God or bow before the golden image that was created by King Nebuchadnezzar. The King had told them either they bow before the golden image or face being thrown in a fiery furnace. When King Nebuchadnezzar gave them this challenge he made one vital mistake. He questioned them on the God they served. He said, And who is the god who will deliver you out of my hands?

Remember that when people challenge you they are also challenging the God that you serve which means that God has to show up and show out, BUT you have to believe that he will. Be Blessed!
