Inspiration | How I Survived a Less Than Eventful Summer [Blog-tember Challenge Day 3]

BLOG-TEMBER, DAY 3: Summer List

Saturday, Sept. 3: Share a list of favorites from the season!

Well everything has to come to an end and Summer's end is drawing near. I can't front as if this was the best summer I've ever had. Honestly most of the summer was pretty uneventful to say the least. No amusement parks nor trips to the beach. You would think I would be bummed out, yet I am not. The beach equals no sand (in crevices) and no amusement park equals money in my pocket with no blisters on my feet. Well, that sounds like a win/win to me!

Okay but there were are few sunny spots! No pun intended okay totally pun intended LOL I tackled my list as favorite EVENTS instead of favorite products/services. The writing prompt could totally be interpreted both ways.

1 - Spending time with my daughter. Being able to see her growth verbally and socially this summer has been awesome. She’s two now, time is flying and my little one isn't so little anymore. Her ability to identify letters, numbers, colors, shapes etc just astounds me daily. Her ability to use electronic devices seamlessly does as well. Kid even asks for Snapchat by name! Ha!

2. My first meetup was this summer, Random Moms Night Out, here in Raleigh, NC!
Such a great event and I can't wait to meet up with my #RandomMom tribe again! If you're interested in attending future events, make sure to sign up for my mailing list, so you're always in the know!

3. Working with Activate Good as their Social Media Ambassador. It's been such an inspiring experience working with this non-profit thus far! If you'd like more opportunities to volunteer, I know of great list of local events to pick from soon. Grab your friends and #volunteer during this year’s 9/11 Weekend of Service! Service projects are happening around the Triangle on Friday 9/9 and Saturday 9/10, with a commemoration event at The Red Hat amphitheater on Sunday 9/11.
You can sign up here: http://activategood.org/911weekend2016

If you an’t #volunteer on Friday or Saturday? Join us to volunteer at the 9/11 Commemoration and Service Event at Red Hat Amphitheater instead. RSVP here: http://911commemoration2016.eventbrite.com/

What has your Summer been like so far? That's about it for my Summer, well technically Summer doesn't end until September 22nd, so we'll just have to see what the rest of this month brings!

Talk to you later lovelies,

This post is partying over at the following linky parties!
