STYLE | Tracee Ellis Ross + JCPenney Equals Sparkle #TERJCP

Hey girl, hey! Now, if you're here due to the post title, you know I'm a few days late to this (posting my thoughts online) party. Yet, my goal this year has been to focus on being "PRESENT" in the moment. Capturing things as the happen and then spending time to reflect later. So, yes Momma got out the house this past weekend and I'm here finally to tell you all about it.

The incomparable Ms. Tracee Ellis Ross was able to get me out for a non-grocery trip! What a feat! (like seriously, I'm borderline a recluse these days, j/k) I don't think I need to introduce her, but here goes anyway. She is most recently known for her role as Dr. Rainbow Johnson in the ABC comedy series Black-ish but many of us have been swooning over her since the early 2000's ensemble sitcom Girlfriends.

She has been a hair and style icon of mine for what feels like ions now. I found out earlier this year that she'd be collaborating with JCPenney for a holiday line and I couldn't wait!

So fast forward to November...the line was released yesterday November 12th online and in-stores and I made sure I was front and center to witness it. North Carolina's own, dynamic style duo KiKiSol, hosted The Blogger Collective. It was a great shopping event, with some goodies and style tips! I enjoyed meeting and greeting my fellow stylish bloggers.

Here are a few highlights...

It's Finally Here!!

Tracee yes, Life NEEDS Sparkle!

Don't miss this, the collection runs from small to 3x!

Yasssss Shelby! She did that!

Although I loved it all, I knew one piece that I could definitely incorporate into my wardrobe immediately. Now, if your search the hashtag #TERJCP, you'll notice the Kindness Long Sleeve Mock Bodycon dress and Red Bliss Robe Jacket seemed to capture everyone's attention. I decided to pick up something a little different and went for the
Festive Short-Sleeve Sequin Top ($49).

Here's one way I'm inspired to style it...

I had a great time and was thoroughly inspired by all the fashionistas that surrounded me. I had an opportunity to step out in the Pink Random Glam! Mama got a day off and it was really good.

If you're interested in the #RandomGlam tee I'm wearing, let me know here >> Random Glam Order Form.
