This mild, keto-friendly, homemade Cheese Sauce is creamy and versatile! An easy cheese sauce recipe is a must-have in your cooking playlist!
This from scratch-ish Cheese Sauce can be made with any combination of ingredients and takes 10 minutes to make. You will get a subtle tanginess from the sharp cheddar.
What You'll Need
It only requires three main ingredients: cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, and cheese. I also included a few pinches, think 1/4 teaspoon, of this and that. This and that being dry ground mustard, paprika, turmeric, and nutmeg. There's also a little Lawry's Garlic Salt and coarse ground black pepper in there to kick up the flavor.A quick note on Turmeric - it has so many health benefits and a pretty neutral flavor. Here, I primarily added it for color. My little one is quite fond of the instant "blue box" macaroni and although we don't serve it to her often, turmeric here lends to that nostalgic color she adores.
